Girls Cooking Day

The girls and I look forward to our Christmas Girls Cooking Day!  Unfortunately, I only lasted a little bit because I felt horrible and ended up resting but that didn't stop everyone else from cooking up some goodies for us to share!

Santa 2013

It was Santa time...little did I know but Kinsley was evidently very nervous once she approached him and froze.  She got off his lap and said, "Mom, I told him random things!"  She was so upset.  I assured her that Santa knew what she really wanted and knew of her letter she wrote to him.  Later in the car she yelled, "A BARBIE TOWEL! WHY WOULD I SAY A BARBIE TOWEL!!??  We all got a good laugh from that one!

Thanks Aunt Mary for picking up our ticket and lunch!  You are too sweet to my girls and they love you!!!

Let them praise HIs name with dancing...

Chaney has been asking to be a part of a team for a long time.  I'm so thankful we found a team that allows that without all the competitiveness.  Chaney and Kinsley are on an ensemble team.  They perform 2-3 dances at 4 show offs a year.  They are judged on their performances and receive a trophy for their dance with the highest score.  The team did so considering it was everyone's first year to be a part of this team.  They received a trophy for their jazz performance.  The girls had the best day being with the sweet girls on their team and cheering on other friends on other teams.  It was a day full of fun but thankfully not as crazy "dance mom" like I have seen before.  Chaney said her favorite part was when they took turns praying together before they went out.  Again, I'm so thankful the girls are at a place that puts the focus on God before everything else.  Their company's verse is...
"Let them praise His name with Dancing."Psalms 149:3

Disney World Day 7: Magic Kingdom and Last Day

Oh the last day is always so bittersweet...I say this every year but this really was one of our favorite times at Disney.  We loved a week together and the girls were at the best age to Go, Go, Go!  Lots of new memories made!
